Bonneville Salt Flats Editorial Sunset Shoot - Clickaway 2014

I am excited to share some new editorial work on the blog today!

Last month, I had the opportunity to attend Clickin Moms' first ever Photo Conference - Clickaway, in Salt Lake City, Utah. The conference was packed with learning opportunities and inspiration.  I really enjoyed traveling to a city I've never to been before, meeting new people and hanging out with friends I already knew from my local Seattle Clickin Moms community.

I also got to visit the Bonneville Salt Flats, with a group of photogs who attended the conference... and wow! what a magical place it was! Our model was great to work with, and the sunset was so perfect!!

Besides shooting with my regular lenses, I got the opportunity to experiment with my lensbaby. All in all, a great experience! I'd say the hour and a half drive from Salt Lake City was totally worth it!

I'll let the photos do the talking now ;) Hope you enjoy the work!

Thanks for stopping by.

Today I'm sharing my favorite shots from an amazing wedding inspired shoot out I recently attended. I traveled to Oregon to shoot all these images and the team at Beyond The Wanderlust did a really wonderful job putting together the shoot. Maria and Jordan, who are husband and wife in real life (and I think are just stunning!) were two of the wonderful models I got to work with!

The shoot out took place at Clackamas River Farm in Eagle Creek, Oregon a beautiful farm located just outside of Portland, Oregon. The amazing landscape that surrounds the farm was the perfect setting for this rustic/romantic shoot.

I was so inspired by Maria and Jordan's "look" and by the woodsy/rustic styling of the entire shoot, that after taking a few more traditional shots, I thought I would shoot some experimental double exposures, which is a style I have been working on in the last few months. I also played around with sun flare, and I'm so pleased with the results! I just love that I got to try something new!

This was such a great experience! I and I am so happy to share these images with you. I hope you enjoy them!
